Here is the second post (after Energy) about the modalities I use and how they work for me - to help you decide if I would be a good fit for your needs.
Mediumship is being the middleman, the messenger (don't shoot!), and a conduit of sorts. I channel information sometimes from a collective I call The Choir who have been helping me all my life.
My process is simple. I imagine myself in a shaft of gold light that flows down through me, all around me, and into the earth, grounding me. I walk up three stone steps (first step - peace and tranquillity; second step - love and light; third step - communication) and find myself in an Akashic Room - a meadow that is very beautiful. I meet my spirit guide Marshall (they don't have names - it makes humans happy to call them something because that's how we roll) and ask him to interpret and organize for me.
Then I call in whoever you want to contact. Unlike some mediums who say they have no control over who shows up, 90% of the time, whoever I call for - appears. I have no idea why this is, but clients have verified that who I am describing is that particular loved one. I also have no problem getting my loved ones to come in.
I communicate with your loved ones, and often they appear in the way they felt the best - not always how you remember them - and I get lots of personality and feeling. The intention I set for these encounters is that YOU will feel them also. It's one of the things all of us as practitioners can do to help you - assist you in your connection with the ones you love. The Reading can be a big old love fest, or if there were issues left unresolved, we could begin to untangle them.
I can then contact your guides and angels and give you information from them.
I don't know how Mediumship works, but I have an opinion. I think that because we are all from one Source energy, we can communicate with separate beings because we are not separate at all.
I am a Medium. That's hard for me to say out loud (or, on screen as I am now doing). Why? Why is this hard to admit and own when in reality ALL humans have the abilities I have? I'm normal, hardworking, full of doubt some days and confidence on others - just like you. We are all the same, and in fact, we are all ONE. I know, it's a hard concept to wrap your head around.
I started a blog, Characteristically Speaking, when I was learning to be a writer. I've thought about migrating all 114 posts here, but they don't all pertain to my work as a Medium. Surprisingly, many do. When I wrote fiction, frequently my stories were about the supernatural, spirits, scary things and how young people deal with having "gifts." Yes, I wrote what I knew.
Little did I know that I was compelled to write not to become a world-famous author with beloved characters that would outlast my current lifetime, but to discover my intuitive gifts. I started writing a story about a man from Belgium and a woman from San Francisco who fell in love through letters, were separated by WWII and impulsive actions, and never met, yet were connected across miles and centuries. These were real people, and my friend had their letters, all 400 of them, written over almost 50 years. Maurice and Mimi had a tragic love affair, true Soul Mates actually, and they started to communicate with me in a way that wasn't my imagination. I felt them. I heard them. I could smell Maurice's cigar. And I fell in love with them too.
